FREO2 Foundation is a global non-profit working to reduce child mortality from respiratory illness in low- and lower-middle-income countries by improving access to life-saving medical oxygen. It delivers "Oxygen as a Service" (O2aaS) solar-powered oxygen systems paired with clinical and technical training — through partnerships with remote health facilities and governments. Founded out of University of Melbourne physics and global health research, FREO2 has treated over 30,000 children across Uganda, Tanzania and the Solomon Islands.
