Closes Sep 3The Institute of Environment, Climate and Development Sustainability (IECDS) is a Tanzanian research and training institute that specialises in environment and climate change for sustainable development. The institute started in 1997 as Environmental Protection and Management Services (EPMS). NACTVET accredited IECDS in 2012 as a full training institute under registration number REG/ANE/031. IECDS is the only Tanzanian training institute in Eastern Africa that holds accreditation with the UNFCCC Secretariat and the IPCC Secretariat, and the Green Climate Fund recognises it as a technical observer organisation. The institute operates from the IECDS Building at Bunju B in Dar es Salaam.
