Alistair Group is seeking a Driver Manager to oversee driver performance, compliance, training, records, discipline, retention, and safety operations in Kurasini, Dar es Salaam.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and set driver performance indicators, including transit time, speed violations, and convoy management
- Manage driver profiles and ensure compliance with documentation in accordance with company SOPs, RTSA regulations, and cross-border requirements
- Supervise driver behaviour and ensure driver training aligns with company standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver records
- Implement effective driver discipline and performance-monitoring systems
- Support driver retention initiatives
- Uphold high safety standards across driver operations
Requirements
- Minimum of a Diploma in Logistics or a related field
- At least 2 years of proven experience in logistics, including managing a team
- Team management and supervision skills
- Experience monitoring driver performance and safety
- Knowledge of driver documentation, RTSA regulations and cross-border requirements
- Strong record-keeping skills
- Experience as a truck driver is an added advantage
- Diploma in Logistics or a related field
