Responsible for leading branch operations, achieving Retail and SME financial targets, driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering excellent customer service at Exim Bank Tanzania’s Hill Park branch.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of branch operations and ensure successful business performance
- Lead, motivate and manage branch staff to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Drive Current Account and Savings Account growth, fee income generation, product sales and customer service
- Oversee branch operations, compliance and internal controls
- Identify opportunities to develop and grow profitable customer relationships
- Achieve business and sales performance targets
- Acquire new customers while retaining and growing existing customer relationships
- Ensure operational efficiency and staff productivity across the branch
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of integrated banking systems and ensure accurate transaction records
- Prepare periodic and statutory reports for management
- Maintain strong branch control procedures, particularly regarding financial security
- Resolve complex customer issues in collaboration with colleagues in other offices and branches
- Promote a superior customer relations and service culture through staff coaching and guidance
- Participate in community affairs to increase the bank’s visibility and identify business opportunities
- Perform duties of the MCSOP or Operations Manager in their absence as directed by the Cluster Head
- Identify and eliminate waste and recommend new practices for continuous improvement
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the banking industry
