Data & Insights Intern

We are seeking for a detail-oriented Data & Insights Intern to support the collection, analysis, and interpretation of community engagement data. The successful candidate will help monitor key performance metrics, contribute to the development of internal dashboards, and generate actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Track community engagement and platform performance metrics.
• Analyze community and engagement data to identify trends and patterns.
• Support the development and maintenance of internal dashboards.
• Prepare reports and data summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Provide insights that support organizational planning and decision-making.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and organized datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data-driven decision making.

Requirements

• Recent Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Data Science, ICT, Communications, Political Science, Development Studies, Sociology, Project Management, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Passion for data, civic technology, and social impact.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in both English and Swahili.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
