United Bank for Africa (UBA) Tanzania is seeking a qualified Teller to manage cash and cheque transactions, maintain accurate daily balancing, and deliver excellent customer service at teller points in Dar es Salaam.
Responsibilities
- Ensure prompt and efficient payment and posting of all cash and cheque transactions.
- Ensure proper daily balancing of cash and transactions.
- Oversee service delivery standards at teller points.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university
- Five O-Level credits obtained in no more than two sittings, including Mathematics and English Language
- Knowledge of banking operations, policies, procedures and basic accounting
- IT appreciation and application skills
- Information sourcing and processing skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service orientation and professional disposition
