Official job description

Jumla Africa is seeking a Lake Zone Sales Manager based in Mwanza to drive sales of agricultural inputs (seeds, fertilizers, agrochemicals and tractors) across the Lake Zone, manage zonal operations, lead sales and operations teams, and ensure overall business performance.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth and achieve zonal sales targets.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Manage product distribution, availability, and operational efficiency.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with audit, financial, and regulatory requirements.
Lead, coach, and supervise sales and operations teams.
Prepare monthly sales and operations reports.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field
3 to 5 years of experience in agricultural input sales
Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies
Strong leadership and team supervision skills
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Customer and stakeholder relationship management skills
High integrity and professionalism
Willingness to travel extensively within the zone
