Product Trainer – Device Financing

Mogo Tanzania is looking for a Product Trainer – Device Financing to build capable, disciplined, and high-performing field teams as the company expands its device financing operations. The role is field-based with frequent travel across Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Morogoro, Dodoma and Mbeya, and reports to the Regional Manager – Device Financing.

Responsibilities

• Train Loan Officers, dealers, promoters, and agents on products, processes, and systems.
• Develop structured onboarding programmes and refresher training schedules.
• Ensure teams have full mastery of CRM and loan systems, including compliance and data quality requirements.
• Identify performance gaps and coach teams to improve conversion and onboarding quality.
• Help establish training standards and strengthen onboarding processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a trainer in fintech, telco, PAYGO, retail, or device financing environments.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills in English and Swahili.
• Experience training teams on apps, digital tools, or field sales processes.
• Energetic, structured, and field-ready approach to work.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work closely with teams on the ground.
